He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarris Aubrey Hargett, Sr. and Louie Elizabeth Hames Hargett; and his stepson Randy Logan. He is survived by: his wife Janice Taylor Hargett of Hartselle, AL; his stepson Joe Logan (Stoshia) of Hartselle, AL; and his grandchildren, Sarah Alber (Tommy), Macky Vest, Jimmy Owens, Curtis Sanders, Troy Taylor, William Logan and Tommy Alber.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peck Funeral Home (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Johnson Chapel Cemetery (1260 N Johnson Chapel Rd, Danville, AL 35619).
