It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Copeland of Hartselle, Alabama, who passed away on July 10, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maury Milford McKinney and Lonie Louise Shumpert McKinney; her son Roger Brent Copeland; her granddaughter Emily Brooke Murphy; and her siblings, Roy "Buddy" McKinney of Memphis, Dewayne McKinney of Tupelo and Bobbie Greenlee of Rutledge, TN..

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Copeland (Susan), Rhonda Legg (Steve) of Hartselle and Sondra Dutton (Artie) of Hartselle; her siblings, Charles "Pete" McKinney (Joyce) of Nettleton, Mississippi and Linda Jones (Berdell) of Tupelo, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Amanda Brown (Cody), Adam Schrimsher, Caleb Murphy, Tyler Legg (Allison), Lara Grace Austin (Tres), Brent Copeland, Meagan Malkmus, Julie Legg, Josh Sartin, Matthew Sartin (Hailey) and Kayla Sartin; and her great grandchildren, Cole Brown, Kade Brown, Noah Legg, Brooks Austin, Mia Legg, Jaxson Nickleson, Laikleigh Austin and Ian Austin.
