He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Thrasher and Adeline Avery Thrasher; his daughter Vanessa Jeanne Smith; and his grandson Bradley Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Pat Thrasher; his children, Angie Simpson (Geno), Jason Tomlinson (Shelly), Jonna Tomlinson Ellis (Russell) and Julie Tomlinson Lindeman (Tony); his brother Billy Don Thrasher (Jackie); and his grandchildren, Alex Simpson, Rachael Tomlinson, Joe Tomlinson, Lauren Ellis Cummins (Ian), Ethan Ellis, Graham Ellis, Cole Lindeman, Ty Lindeman and Drew Lindeman.
