David Garner Obituary
We announce the death of David Garner (Hartselle, Alabama), who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 50. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Ronald David Garner, Sr.; and his grandparents, Wilburn "Red", Ola Mae Motes, Dallas and Dot Garner.
He is survived by: his mother Kathy Dian Motes Garner; his wife Shelia Garner; his children, Lindsay McCalea Chombo (Edward), McKenzie Gage Garner (Kayla) and Colbie Kain Garner (Courtney); his sister Amanda Leah Garner; his grandchildren, Hallie, Oliver, AnnaLynn, Eliana, Christopher, Emilia and Elijah; and his nieces and nephews, Colton, Rayna, Benson and Ashlyn. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Neel Church of Christ (6240 Danville Rd, Hartselle, AL 35640).
