She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Woodruff Kay, Sr.; and her brother Samuel Kay, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Noelani Bartlett (Sagan) of Hartselle, One; her sister Carol Kay Richards of Ocala; her grandchildren, Nick Flannagin and Leilani Flannagin; her stepgrandchild Kaygan Gist; her great grandchildren, Hadlee, Haven Flannagin, Asher and Barkley Kroslack; and her stepgreat-grandchild Maddox Byrd.
In lieu of flowers Ms. Auwae requested the donations be made to Samaritan's Purse, an animal welfare charity, or a Native American charity.
