She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Carroll Maples and Clara Lee Spears Maples; her husband Fred Motes, Sr.; and her brothers, Lewis and Billy Don Maples.
She is survived by: her children, Fred W. Motes, Jr. (Rhonda), Mike Motes, Deborah Javon Alldredge (Nathan), Kay Widener (Mike) and Roxanne M. Tucker (Darren); her sister Linda Jo Bomar; and her great grandchildren, Jarrod Alldredge, Brandon Motes, Kindred Motes, Johndale Motes, Ryan Kretzer, Joel Suarez and Gage Crowder.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Center Baptist Church (587 Church Rd, Hartselle, AL 35640). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
