It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Penn (Hartselle, Alabama), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Athel and Frances Vaughn Penn. She is survived by: her sister Teresa Leaphart; and her sibling's children, Matthew Tunstill, Michael Leaphart and Michelle Shaunce.

“Hello Jackie's Family, It saddens me to discover today (8-21-24) that Jackie passed in March. I knew Sgt. Penn when I was stationed at Stuttgart Germany. She was an outstanding solider. We reconnected December 2014 on FB via messenger. I am so sorry that I let life get away from me and it's been tooo long that I checked in with her.
