It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hightower (Hartselle, Alabama), who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert Hightower and Ruby Cole Hightower. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Compton Hightower; his daughters, Donyale Wooten and Shannon Owens (Tommy); his grandchildren, Clint Owens (Macy), Mekenzie Smithson (Collin) and Mary Claire Wooten; and his great grandchild Barrett James Miller. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers: family requests memorial donations be made to St. Judes Hospital.
