With sadness, we share the passing of Jesse Andrew Hammond (Hartselle, Alabama). Jesse, born on July 1, 1947, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Andrew Hammond (Jack). He is survived by: his mother Ruby Hammond; his sisters, Martha Jane Gartman and Jackie Badger; his wife Kathy; his sons, Chris (Angela) and Sam (Kandice); and his grandchildren, Collin, Ruby and Charlee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Peck Funeral Home (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Alzheimer's Association or your favorite charity.
