It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Paul Pointer of Hartselle, Alabama, who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Charlie Pointer; and his wife Juanita Pointer. He is survived by: his son Corey; his daughter-in-law Amy Taylor; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer Smith and Dahlia Taylor; his great grandchild Lucas Smith of Decatur; and his siblings, Joyce Freeman of Union, Charles (Inez Pointer) of Hartselle, AL, Patricia Ann Wolfe of Danville, AL, Vera Jackson of Moulton, AL and Melvin (Gwen Pointer). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
