He was predeceased by: his parents, Simeon Lewis Howell and Ruth Patterson Howell; and his brothers, Sim Howell, Jr. and Mac Howell. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Howell; his daughters, Lynn H. Reeves (Mike), Regina H. Houser (Brian) and Kaye H. Huff (Bill); his grandchildren, Mary Reeves Halbrooks (Will) of Virginia, David Reeves, Jackson Reeves (Peyton), Patterson Huff, Riley Huff and Julianne Huff; and his great grandchildren, Jace Halbrooks, Adam Halbrooks and Lane Halbrooks.
