He was predeceased by: his parents, Felton Henderson and Zadie Mae Phillips Henderson; his wife Thelma Henderson; and his children, Dalton Henderson, Marlon Henderson, Robert Henderson and Karen Darnell.

He is survived by: his children, Wade Henderson, Michael Henderson, Wanda Tyndall and Birtha Henderson; and his sister Eloise Henderson Loucille Glover.
