She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble Johnson and Anne Grissom Johnson of Tuscumbia; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Groover Chunn and Betty Hampton Groover. She is survived by: her husband Ike Groover; her children, Kim Groover Peck (Jim) and David Arthur Groover; her grandchildren, Emily Lynn Peck, James Arthur Peck (Anna), Brittany Dee Russell (Marcus) and Anthony Jordan Groover (AJ); her great grandchildren, Mason Peck, Eli Peck, Bailey Anne Peck, Nolan Peck, Charlie Russell and Henry Russell; her sister Suzanne Johnson Dunn (Kyle); and her nephews, Wade Dunn, Will Dunn and Andrew Dunn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (210 Hickory St SE, Hartselle, AL 35640). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
