He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Cradford Prince and Sarah Cornelia Terrell Prince; his former wife Betty Jane Stewart Prince; his children, Charlie Prince, Carolyn Prince and Mary Paul Prince Hendry; his granddaughter Katie Carroll; and his siblings, Clyde, John Prince and Mable Starkey.

He is survived by: his stepson Mike Garner; his daughters, Anne Walker and Becky Tankersley (Joe Ed); his stepdaughter Sherry; and his great great grandchildren, Terry McKelvey, Chris Glascock, John David Blackwood, Dale Burch, Ken James and Gary Lafay.
