He is survived by: his wife Sandra Carter; his children, Lysa Carter, Brandi Newman (Jeff) and Clay Carter (Starr); his granddaughters, Breanna Wiggonton (Max), Alysa "Roo" Newman and Richlyn "Roo" Carter; his brother Jerry Carter; and his brother-in-law Eldred Sims.
