He is survived by : his wife Jean Gassaway Johnson of Hartselle, AL; his children, Richard Allen Johnson, Jr. of Scottsville, KY and Richelle Sandlin of Decatur, AL; and his grandchildren, Seth Johnson and Katie Johnson.
