Watkins (Hartselle, Alabama), born in Jefferson, Alabama, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Watkins and Mary Kyle Terry Watkins; and his brother-in-law George Curley. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Johnson Watkins of Decatur, AL; his sons, Roger Edward Watkins, Jr. (Debora) of Holiday, FL and Joel Todd Watkins of Holiday; his stepdaughters, Ginger Ballard Boyd of Falkville, AL and Shana Johnson Odom (Chris) of Hartselle, AL.; and his sister Nancy Watkins Curley.
