He was predeceased by: his son Michael McClendon; and his grandparents, Edward, Genevia Hudgins, Joseph and Laura Brown.
He is survived by: his parents, Charlie Brown and Robbie Evelyn Hudgins Brown; his daughters, Brittany Wilhite (Spencer Ready), Nicole Champion (Austin Champion) and Carissa Cone (Devan); and his grandchildren, Mikayla, McClendon, Percy Champion, Elijah Champion, Nolan Cone, Hayden Cone and Mallory Ready.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Peck Funeral Home (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Clearview Cancer Center in his name.
