He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Greenwood Harris, Sr. and Thelma Christine Denard Harris; his stepson Bret Nance; and his brother-in-law Charles Golson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Funderburke Harris; his children, Thomas Harris, III (Maci) and Elizabeth Henderson (Sean); his stepchildren, Scott Nance (Jenna) and Jennifer Hensley (Chris); his stepdaughter-in-law Teresa Nance; and his siblings, Randy Harris and Judy Golson (Sixteen).
