He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, William David Kemp and Beth Kemp Benson (Marlan); and his grandchildren, T. J. Brakefield (Christa), Rebekah Benson, Sarah Silas (Peyton), Joshua Benson and Monroe Silas.
