He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Massey (Kristy Helms) and Dewayne Fortenberry; his siblings, Jimmy Lawrence, Lawrence and Louise; his granddaughters, Kayla Marie Massey and Michelle Steeleand; and his great grandchildren, Danny Drinkard, Dale Weaver, Michael Steele, Jimmy Mitchell, Randy Maner and Brad Maner.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peck Funeral Home (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Peck Funeral Home Chapel (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640).
