He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Hayes Hale; his parents, Exer Lee Hale and Rhoda Ann Johnson Hale; and his siblings, Lee (Ruby), Kenneth, Eldridge (Ezell), J. C. (Nellie), Carl, Alvin Hale (Thelma), Florence Montgomery (Houston), Annie McAnnally (Buddy), Bell Holt (Luke) and Ruth Holmes.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Cleo Hale (Pamela), LeeAnn Hale and Kimberly Bowers (Michael); his grandchildren, Erica Self (Chris), Kayla Hamlin (Greg), Ken Floyd II (Amanda), Brittani Floyd and Chloe Hale; his great grandchildren, Jesse Joy, Andrew Self, Erin Self, Jace Christopher Self, Jackson Cleo Self and Penelope Rose Hamlin; and his brothers, Bill Hale (Pat) of Pell City, AL. and Jackie Hale (Elizabeth) of Tuscaloosa, AL.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church (1133 Pine Grove Rd, Rosa, AL 35121). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the High Rock Cemetery (260 High Rock Rd, Hayden, AL 35079).
