We are sad to announce that, on May 20, 2026, at the age of 66, David Wayne Gaither of Hayden, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Paul Gaither and Louise Vise; and his siblings, Ken Gaither, Janice Wilcox and Judy Gaither.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra H. Gaither; and his children, John Fenstermaker, Brook Carnes, Judy McCown, Jill Johnson, Amanda Gaither, Rachel Gaither and Sam Gaither.
