He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Joe Hicks and Sevilla Delora Allred; and his wife Jean Amerson Hicks. He is survived by: his siblings, Ann Patrick, Woodie L. Hicks and Charlie Ray Hicks; his daughters, Renee Chism and Lori Hicks-Glazner (George); his grandchildren, Robert S. Brantley Jr. (Jessica), Kalyn J Speck (Forrest Doles), BJ Brantley (Kourtney) and Spencer Joe Speck (Alishia Guthrie); his great grandchildren, Coleson Brantley, Levi Speck, Warren Brantley, Sawyer Brantley, Kynleigh Brantley, Kade Brantley, Avalynn Brantley, Hudson Doles, Livia Brantley, Kylee Brantley and Kelsi Brantley; his siblings, Helen Carroll and James R. Hicks (Pattie); and his caregiver Kristy Maravilla. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
