He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Shearin Cox. He is survived by: his son Calvin Gene Cox Jr. (Kimberly) of Madison; his grandchildren, Ryan Cox (MaryBeth), Andrew Cox, William Cox, Benjamin Cox and Kaitlyn Adams (Jacob); and his sibling's children, Diane Richardson, Libby Hineman, Bill Cox (Cathy) and Ben Cox.
