He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Skinner and Mildred Skinner; and his siblings, Charles Edward Skinner and Marjorie Sue Bullock. He is survived by: his wife Amy Jo Skinner; his children, Terri Moon (Quentin) and Aaron Skinner; his grandchildren, Nicholas Moon, Noah Moon and Lillie Skinner; and his siblings, Nell Laramore and George Skinner. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231, Hazel Green, AL 35750). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
