He is survived by: his children, Kathy Eldridge (Chris), Regina King (Chris) and Jeff Atchley; his grandchildren, Dustin Atchley (Jen), Matthew Talley, Jacob Atchley, Caleb Talley (Jayna), Austin King (Brittney), Ashleigh Atchley (Jesse), Chris Jr. Eldridge (Joan) and Erica Drake (Kwesi); his great grandchildren, Abby Atchley, Shyann Talley, Annabelle Holland, Brooks Atchley, Madilynn Talley, Chicoma Drake, Landree Atchley, Avery Talley, Mack-Edward Talley, Kai Drake, Hudson King, Joy Eldridge, Jaya Eldridge and RaeLynn Atchley; and his brothers, G. W. Atchley, Bobby Atchley, Jerry Atchley (Linda) and Paul Atchley (Nancy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
