With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan Hyatt (Hazel Green, Alabama), who passed away on August 8, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Dakota Hyatt; his siblings, Lawrence Hyatt, Garland Hyatt, Edwin Hyatt, Cleo, Terry Moorehead, Lucy Sellen, Jerry Hyatt and Patricia Ann Himes; his brother-in-law Robert Hawkins; and his parents, Eddie Hyatt and Martha Boyette Hyatt.
He is survived by: his children, Nina (Clay Holcomb), Jennifer (Dean Mason), Kim (Robby Hunt) and John (Kelecia Hyatt); his grandchildren, Saben Mason, Shealyn, Peyton Hargrave, Andi Hunt, Kasen Holcomb and Chandler Hyatt; his great grandchild Amelia Hargrave; his sisters, Doris Hawkins and Georgia (James Muirhead); and his sisters-in-law, Marie Hyatt, Chung Hyatt and Sherry Hyatt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231 #8651, Hazel Green, AL 35750). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
