He was predeceased by: his parents, W. K. Boggs and Sadie Elizabeth Boggs (Simmons); his daughter Cynthia Boggs Gibbs; his grandson Dylan Gibbs; and his children, Nelson, Lindsey, Dickey, Denny, Wanda Sue, Faye Shirley, Sheila, Phillip and Jackie.
He is survived by: his son David Harold Boggs; his granddaughter Cayleigh Boggs; and his siblings-in-law, Patsy Boggs, Sandra Boggs, Marie Lee and Virgil Saint. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231 #8651, Hazel Green, AL 35750). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
