He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bob Heckaman and Ginny Heckaman; his wife Teresa Heckaman; his children, Myles (Angie), Sara Reasoner (Zach), Jake Heckaman (Haley) and Lauren Heckaman (Paul); and his grandchildren, Maddie, Lily, Ella, Luke Heckaman, Hayden and Kayte Reasoner.
