He is survived by: his daughters, Christina Chumley, Jennifer Black and Alicia Stricklin; the parent of his children Monte Kay Black; his grandchildren, Kellee Smith (Nic), Joseph Stricklin, Hannah Chumley and Caden Stricklin; his great grandchild Kase Smith; and his brother Hugh Black (Vicky). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of special friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home (508 College St W, Fayetteville, TN 37334). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
