William Raymond Posey Obituary
We announce the death of William Raymond Posey of Hazel Green, Alabama, who passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 88. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Posey and Annie King Posey Cantrell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sharp Posey; his children, Jeff Posey (Janet), Lesia Bradley (Mitch) and Amanda Johnson (Rodney); and his grandchildren, Grant Johnson (Taylor), Katie Underwood (Taylor), Jamie Decker (Chelsea), Jessica Posey, Lauren Weeks, Steven Hughes, Justin Hughes (Keisha) and Lindsey Williams. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
