She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Henry Cunningham and Emma Shirley Suggs Cunningham; her husband Charlie Wayne Covington; her children, Delia Covington and Trey Payne; her stepson Wykle Covington (Angelina); her siblings, Rebecca Hall, Judy Covington (Wilburn), Sara Browne, Wanda Johnson (Tony), Lisa Boyd (Charlie), Shelby Cunningham (Janet) and John Cunningham; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Covington, Logan Covington, Alora Covington, Sylas Covington, Earl Woodham, Caylee Woodham and Bobby Haze Covington; and her caregiver Amy Woodham.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holman-Headland Mortuary (305 Main St, Headland, AL 36345). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Selma Baptist Church Cemetery (3255 S Park Ave, Dothan, AL 36301).
