He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Collie Lane and Mildred Roberts Lane; his siblings, Lamar Lane (Sam), Kenneth Lane (Buck) and Lynda Lane; his nephew Tony Lane; his father-in-law Larry H. Childres; and the mother of his children Sheila M. Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Childres Lane; his sons, Jon-Michael Lane (Katie) and Marcus E. Lane; his granddaughter Charleigh Lane; his siblings, Phillip Lane (Lynne), Ronnie Joe Lane (Harriet), Joan Lane Kirkland, Gail Lane Altman (Harry), Penny Lane and Barbara Childres; and his mothers-in-law, Barbara Childres, Penny Lane, Gail Lane Altman (Harry) and Joan Lane Kirkland.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel (305 Main St, Headland, AL 36345). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pinckard Memorial Cemetery.
