With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Houston Charles (Heflin, Alabama), who passed away on April 28, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Mac Charles, Sr. and Elaine Stanford Charles of Heflin. He is survived by: his siblings, Chanda (Jim) of Navarre and Jerry (Lisa) of Heflin, Alabama.; his nieces, Laura Hill (Todd) of Eastaboga and Rachel Ryan of Dallas, Texas; his nephew Trace Ryan of Pensacola; his great-nephews, Carson Sanders and Bryan Hill of Eastaboga, Alabama.; and his aunts, Shirley Charles, Linda Charles of Heflin, Betty Charles Holmes of Anniston and Carol Charles Gregg of Auburn. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members, cherished co-workers, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dryden Funeral Home (1467 Almon St, Heflin, AL 36264). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dryden Funeral Home Chapel (1467 Almon St, Heflin, AL 36264).
