He was predeceased by: his parents, Harbon Thrower and Elsie Thrower; and his brothers, Clellan "Hank" and Rudy Thrower. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Thrower; his children, Debbie Johnson Smith (Scott), Robin Atkinson (Frank), Kelly Thrower and Kyle Thrower (Jennifer); his sisters, Pat Mason (Charles) and Peggy Nowland (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Colby Smith, Zachary Smith, Brent Thrower, Logan Thrower Tatum Humphries and Roxyn Rhinehart.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chulafinnee Baptist Church (6961 US-431, Heflin, AL 36264). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
