He was predeceased by: his parents, Duell Hand and Myrt Hand. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Jennifer Vereen (Matt) and Matt Hand (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kayla, Asher, Jenna, Barrett and Jaxon; and his siblings, Betty Ward (Gary), Steve Hand and Rita Hollaway (Joey). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
