He is survived by: his son Joseph Nunn, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; his sisters, Annie Cooley (Willie) of Heflin, Leole Minnifield of Atlanta, Patricia J. Heath of Birmingham and Pamela J. Jones of Birmingham; and his parents, Noah R. Nunn and Lomia Roundtree Nunn. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
