As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lumpkin (Janice); his daughters, Pamela Smith (Keith), Hannah Echols (Kenny) and Hilary Backstrom (Zack); and his sisters, Tina North (Chuck) and Denise Williams. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
