Owedia Spruell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Owedia Spruell of Heflin, Alabama, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wendell Spruell; her children, Rena Parker and Rodney; and her parents, Sam Deese and Lillie Deese.
She is survived by: her son Michael Fordham (Lois Ann); her grandchildren, Scott Sheppard (Brook), Matt Fordham, Cody Fordham, Logan Thomas (Christopher) and Gracelynn Fordham (Landon Harmon); and her brothers, Byron Deese (Joyce), Scott Sheppard, Matt Fordham, Cody Fordham, Christopher Thomas, Landon Harmon and Keith Stephens. She is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations be made to: Crumley's Chapel Cemetery Fund.
