He was predeceased by: his mother Inez Dewberry; his son Richard Scott Dewberry, Jr.; and his grandson Austin Mauricio. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Dewberry of Heflin; his father Gene Dewberry of Ashland; his daughters, Tracy Mooneyhan (Benny) of Bowling Green and Tonya Hall (Andy) of Alexander City; his stepdaughters, Chasity Lopez, Heather Kennedy and Kristy Strickland; and his siblings, S. C., Gail Mitchell (Mack) of Lineville, Randy Dewberry (Judy) of Delta, Robbie Dewberry (Terri) of Granbury, TX. and Ronnie Dewberry (Elaine) of Ashland. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home - Lineville (89076 AL-9, Lineville, AL 36266).
