With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Morgan of Heflin, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel L. Gibson and Crummie Mae Gibson; her husband Lister Hugh Morgan; her sister Betty Stokes; and her son-in-law Les Bryant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Bryant and Patricia Renee Garrett (Don); her grandchildren, Brittney Hyde (Taylor), Joshua Garrett (Marisa), Matthew Garrett, Hannah Powell (Will) and Jacob Garrett; and her great grandchildren, Morgan Lane Hyde, Evelyn Marie Hyde, Addie Louise Powell, Emma Joy Powell and Madilynn Ryan Garrett.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Hearts of Cleburne Family Resource Center located at 915 Ross Street, Heflin, AL 36264.
