She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Poole and Elizabeth Bell Poole; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Houston and Raven Houston; and her brother Lynn Poole.
She is survived by : her husband Verlon Houston of Heflin; her children, Arminta Person (Ronnie) of Heflin, Bianca Martin (Josey) of Anniston and Martello Houston of North Carolina; and her siblings, Alfreida Mitchell of Montgomery, JoAnne Bennett of Montgomery, Andrea Pierce of Montgomery, Joffery Poole of Tennessee, Jamar Poole of Goodwater and Gary Poole of Tennessee. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
