As Barbara departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Barbara. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Wayne Carman; and her children, Joseph Wayne Carman Jr. (Pat), Laurie Carman Moore (James) and Dale Barry Carman. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Helena Methodist Church (2035 Co Rd 58, Helena, AL 35080). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Helena Methodist Church, in memory of Barbara's long-standing faith and connection to the community.
