He was predeceased by : his parent Glenn (Jesse Francis Tryon); his children, David E. Tryon and Gayla K. Tryon (Burks); his son-in-law Steve W. Ruoff; and his brother-in-law Bob Riley.

He is survived by : his wife Imogene E. Clark; his sister Beverly Riley; his children, Dee Ruoff (Tryon), Dale L. Tryon and Duane Buchanan (Michelle); and his stepchildren, Scott Clark (Shannon), Tiffany Estrada (Rob), Lisa Elgazzar (Solomon) and Steve Wideman (Patsy). He is also survived by many grandchildren/great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
