He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Scott, Sr. and Maggie Dell Scott; and his brother Sam Scott Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Russell Scott; his children, Tonya Scott, Leta Michelle Scott Gulley, Whitney Woodard and Weaver Hawkins (Kristy); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Teayra, Tynisha, Ashley, Alexis, Marshall, Ellery, Charlee, Roxie and Weaver V; and his siblings, Ernestine, Rose, Ruby, Doris, Denita, Debra, Bob and Barry.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in honor of Will's life and legacy to A Promise to Help, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth and families throughout Alabama's Black Belt region.
