He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Franklin and Gladys Maxine Walls; his children, Jessica Wharton and Edward Bentrum; and his sisters, Sheila Suggs and Linda McClain.
He is survived by: his children, Brandy Walls, Jeremiah Walls, Jackie Shane Bentrum and John Ham; and his brother Roger Walls (Mary). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
