He was predeceased by: his father Arvil Barnard Ogle; and his stepfather Jesse Paul Eargle. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Rainey Ogle; his children, Candace Rodriguez (Juan) and David Carl Ogle II (Angela); his grandchildren, Katalin Ogle, Mackenzie Ogle, Ryan Ogle, Tiara Seals, Jace Rodriguez, Raven Rodriguez, Zander Rodriguez and Brandon Rodriguez; his mother Ethel Parham Eargle; and his sisters, Jean Elders (David), Teresa Barnett (Guy) and Felicia Kidd.
