He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Gregg Wright; his children, Doug Wright Jr. (Jessica Robinson) and Tiffany Wright McCoy (Christopher); his grandchildren, Hunter Robinson and Addilynn Little; his parent Rosetta Smith Palmer; and his siblings, Darlene Davis (Les) and David Wright.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
