He is survived by: his siblings, James, Buddy Tate and Janie Ruth Madaris; his wife Edna Tate; his daughters, Mary Vargas (Hector) and Theresa Tate (Larry); his granddaughters, Alexis Lewandowski (Kyle), Asia Vargas, Anna Vargas (Michael) and Alissa Vargas; and his great grandchildren, James, Marcus Allen Lewandowski and Avery Ann Vargas-Reyes.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kerby Funeral Home (17554 AL-75, Henagar, AL 35978). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
